Spokane, Wash. June 30, 2026: Approximately 419 electric customers will experience a planned power outage on Thursday, July 9. Avista customers around the south side of Hayden Lake will be impacted. The planned outage will start at 5:00 a.m. and end at 8:00 a.m. All affected customers will be notified in advance.

A road closure is expected on Upper Hayden Lake Road between the hours of 5:00 am and 8:00 am. Traffic control will be in place.

During this time, Avista crews will perform maintenance and repairs on equipment in the area. Avista is committed to safeguarding the integrity of its infrastructure while enhancing the safety and reliability of the electric system.
