Spokane, Washington, October 3, 2025: Approximately 415 Avista electric customers in the community of Oldtown will experience a planned power outage on Tuesday, October 14. The planned outage will begin at 10:00 p.m. on October 14 and end at 1:00 a.m. on October 15. Impacted customers have been notified.

During this time, Avista crews will be replacing and updating equipment in the area. Traffic control will be in place. No road closures are expected during this outage. Avista is continually updating equipment and infrastructure to increase the safety and reliability of its system.
