Spokane, Wash. Sept. 24, 2024: Approximately 197 Avista customers in Colville and the surrounding areas will experience a power outage starting at 9:30 a.m. and ending at 1:30 p.m. on October 2. Customers who will be impacted by the outage will be notified directly.

During this time, Avista will transfer service from overhead powerlines to new underground utilities in the area. Lane restrictions will occur on Highway 25 during the outage time. Traffic control will be in place.

Avista is continually updating equipment and infrastructure to increase the safety and reliability of its system.
