Avista customers near Wolf Lodge, Carlin Bay and the surrounding area will experience a planned power outage
Spokane, Wash. October 4, 2024: Approximately 1,850 Avista electric customers on the east side of Coeur d’Alene Lake north of Carlin Bay will experience a planned power outage starting on Thursday, October 17, and continuing into the early hours of Friday, October 18. The outage will also impact customers near the Wolf Lodge exit on both sides of the freeway. Residents living in the town of Harrison will not be affected.
The planned outage will start at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday and end at 5:00 a.m. on Friday morning. Impacted customers will be notified.
During this time, Avista will be performing maintenance on equipment in the area. Avista is continually updating equipment and infrastructure to increase the safety and reliability of its system.
