Avista customers in Harrington to experience a planned power outage

Spokane, Wash. March. 22, 2021: Approximately 357 Avista electric customers in Harrington and the surrounding area will experience a planned power outage on Thursday, March 25. The planned outage will begin at 1:00 a.m. and end at 5:00 a.m. No road closures are expected during this outage. 

During this time, Avista crews will perform maintenance to their equipment in the area. The routine maintenance will increase reliability and reduce future outages in the area. 

“We appreciate our customer’s patience and understanding as we work to increase the reliability of the service to your homes and businesses,” said Jan Hoogstad, manager of electric operations in Davenport and the surrounding area. “To limit the inconvenience and impact to our customers we are conducting our work in the early morning hours while most people are sleeping. We’re committed to restoring your power as quickly and safely as possible.”
