Avista customers in Harrington to experience a planned power outage
Spokane, Wash. June. 24, 2020: Approximately 356 Avista electric customers in Harrington will experience a planned power outage on Tuesday, July 7. The planned outage will begin at 4 a.m. and end at 12 p.m. The outage is necessary as Avista performs routine maintenance and upgrades to our equipment within the Harrington substation. No road closures or traffic disruptions are anticipated as part of this work.
“We appreciate our customers’ patience as we perform routine maintenance on our local substation,” said Kelly Donohue, Manager of Electric Operations in Davenport and the surrounding areas. “This work will ensure our customers continue to receive safe and reliable energy. We will work as quickly and safely as possible to restore service to our customers.”
