Spokane, Wash. March 31, 2025: Approximately 743 Avista electric customers in Genessee and the surrounding area will experience a planned power outage on Friday, April 4. The one-hour planned outage will start at 4:00 a.m. and end at 5:00 a.m. Traffic control will be in place at Union Town Road and Herman Road and Laurel Street Chestnut Street.

During this time, Avista crews will be performing maintenance and upgrades in the area. Avista is continually updating equipment and infrastructure to increase the safety and reliability of its system.
