Spokane, Wash. November. 1, 2024: Approximately 325 Avista electric customers in the Colville area will experience two planned power outages. The first outage will occur on Tuesday, November 5. The outage will start at 9:30 am and end at 1:30 pm. The second outage will occur on Wednesday, November 6. The outage will start at 10:00 am and end at 4:00 pm. Impacted customers will be notified.

During these times, Avista crews will be replacing aging power poles in the area using a helicopter. Avista uses helicopters when it is necessary in hard-to-access areas.

The local polling stations will not be affected by this outage.

Avista is continually updating equipment and infrastructure to increase the safety and reliability of its system.
