Avista to begin pipeline construction project in Roseburg, OR

Construction expected to last 2-3 months

SPOKANE, Wash. August 4, 2025: Avista and contract crews from Canyon Pipeline Inc. are set to begin the process of installing 8,250 feet of 6-inch polyethylene gas main pipe, starting on Wednesday, August 6th at 7:30 AM.  This project aims to reinforce the natural gas system, ensuring a more reliable service for the community. 

This project is expected to impact traffic on Old Melrose Road in Roseburg, OR. The project is expected to take 2-3 months, with work scheduled from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
