2.How do I obtain or change information on my shareholder account?
 Avista’s transfer agent, BNY Mellon Shareowner Services, maintains all registered shareholder account information and processes all account transactions, including payment of dividends. Avista Corp. does not maintain shareholder account information.

3.How do I sell my Avista shares?
 Shares of common stock may be sold through Avista’s transfer agent, BNY Mellon Shareowner Services.

4.How can I obtain a tax-cost basis?
 Each year-end dividend check and/or dividend reinvestment statement provides the history of dividends paid to you for that year. If that information has not been retained, BNY Mellon Shareowner Services can provide year-end statements from 1995 forward. To assist in calculating tax-cost basis prior to 1995, Avista’s Shareholder Services can provide you with the high/low stock price from 1952 forward and the history of all dividends paid by the Company. Additionally, this information is available under Stock and Dividends, Historical Price Lookup and Stock Split History.

5.Does Avista have a Direct Stock Purchase Plan or a Dividend Reinvestment Plan?
 Yes. Avista’s Direct Stock Purchase and Dividend Reinvestment Plan offers first-time direct stock purchases, dividend reinvestment, optional cash payments, safekeeping and the ability to sell shares directly without having to deliver a certificate. For more information, please refer to the Prospectus.

6.How can I enroll in the Direct Stock Purchase Plan or a Dividend Reinvestment Plan?
 You can request a Prospectus and Enrollment Form from BNY Mellon Shareowner Services.

7.When does Avista pay dividends?
 If declared by the board of directors, dividends are generally payable on the 15th of March, June, September and December.
